The aim of performance supplements has always been to enhance your current dietary and athletic protocol. These substances are merely meant to be additions to an already well-dialed-in fitness protocol and provide you with benefits that you otherwise cannot receive from your diet or exercise regimen.
When I was younger, I found myself getting stuck constantly looking for the next supplement to pile onto the ever-expanding shopping cart of my inexperienced and heavily malnourished bank balance. The approach of “the more, the merrier” when it comes to supplementation is both dangerous and mostly detrimental – especially to your budget and your overall health.
So, I have decided to change my approach and have begun reaching for minimalism and simplification over a complex protocol that is impossible to track, and analyze, and ultimately harder to gain from.
The golden rule is, understanding the specific role that every supplement plays In your dietary and exercise protocol. Also, how every supplement is going to help you achieve your current fitness goal.
